1. Introduction

Newsletter Marketing also known as Autoresponder Marketing or Email Marketing
is the backbone of building a Stable and Long Lasting Succesfull Online Business. The
simply reasony of why that fact is a reality is because you can leverage technology to
automate  A LOT of the relationship building efforts with your potential new customers
and existing customers in a very cost efficient manner.

Newsletter Marketing has a wide variety of usage and I normally say that you are only
limited by your imagination of what you can do with a electronic newsletter.

2. What is a Newsletter

So just what is a Newsletter?

There are two distinct categories of Newsletters. Offline Newsletters and Online
Newsletters
. Normally Offline Newsletters take the shape and form of small magazines.
They may be free or paid ones that get shipped to your home.

Online Newsletters are basicly E-mails that gets emailed to you or to people that for
one reason or another chosen to sign up to recieve the Newsletter.

An Online Newsletter consists off a series of Newsletters, either simple Text Only
e-mails or html e-mails. These e-mails are set up either in Sequences or are sent out as a
one time broadcast.

This training course focuses on educating you
on the topic of Online Newsletter Marketing.

3. What Is A Follow Up Message

When you set up a sequence of E-mail Newsletters these messages are called
Follow Up
messages. The significance is that you can create a series of Follow Up messages
on a topic of your choosing and can take complex topics and divide them into smaller
pieces so you can start off by sharing something basic and over the course of a few or
several Follow Up messages you can take the Online Newsletter subscriber from basic
information to more advanced information.

You can do this due to setting up Follow Up messages in order so there is a Red Thread
throughout all of them.

The best part is that these Follow Up messages get delivered automatically without you
manually sending them out once you have created them and set the intervall of how often
they should be sent out. This is done by the software or service that you create and
store your Newsletter in called an Autoresponder. More about what that is later on.

Some excellent ways of using the Follow Up function is to create how-to
guides, educational or informational type of messages that isn’t time sensitive.

You do the work once and you benefit from it forever or as long as you have those
Follup Messages active.

4. What is A Broadcast Message

A Broadcast Message is a message that you send out to the people that subscribe to
your newsletter just once. This is useful if you have a time sensitive promotional campaign.
This way people that joins your newsletter after the campaign has passed won’t get
the information since the information is just sent out once.

This is perticulary usefel for Promotional Campaigns, Events, VIP Customer Evenings
etc.

Think of it as sending out a regular mail that goes out to all of your subscribers by the
pust of a button.

Time Efficient and easy to use.

5. What Is An Autoresponder?

An Autoresponder is the program or service that Creates The Newsletter, Manages
the Subscriber List, contains your Follup Up and Broadcast messages normally also
include a lot of very useful tracking and statistics options.

The Autoresponder also creates the Web Form that the subscribers will use to
add themselves to your Online Newsletter. The neat thing here is that the Autoresponder
generates the code needed to put the web form on your website!

Normally you can also add subscribers manually into your Newsletter Subscriber list through
manual insertion in the Autoresponder.

And finally most Autoresponders support the creation of multiple Newsletters allowing
you to create one list for Potentially New Customers and One For Your Customer and you
can also create Product Specific Newsletters giving you excellent opportunity to over deliver
on use value and really build up the relationship and trust in the Potential Customer or
Customer thereby increasing the chances of getting them back to your Website or Store.
