I managed to get a hold of Ron Givens, Affiliate Manager at Aweber
and really put him on the hot chair with questions that I know you would like an answer to.
Without any further ado *enter drum roll* here is the interview
Q: How can a blogger get repeat blog traffic by using an Autoresponder Service such as Aweber?
A: AWeber is a very “blog friendly” service and we have tools within customer accounts that enable users to:
1. Send their blog posts to their newsletter subscribers via our blog broadcast feature.
2. Allow their blog subscribers to sign up for their newsletter list by inserting a web form into their blog.
3. Enable their blog subscribers to see how many newsletter subscribers they have via a subscriber count chicklet.

A: We are approaching 50,000 customers and have over 70,000 affiliates and
still growing steadily even in our turbulent economy.

A: It really depends on their level of commitment, and actual number would not be accurate here

A: Here at AWeber, we practice what we preach. We use all of the methods mentioned
above in order to get repeat blog traffic as well as converting those readers to newsletter
subscribers and eventually customers and affiliates themselves.

Q: How long have you been working at AWeber autoresponder service?
A: I started on the solutions team almost two years ago. I was hired by Sean Cohen, our Director of Operations.
Q: How long have you been the Affiliate Manager for Aweber?
A: It’s been several months now. I am very pleased to be able to work directly with our affiliates because
they appreciate the AWeber autoresponder product and have a great deal of enthusiasm for promoting our service.
Like you, Tobias. That enthusiasm carries over to me and makes my job an adventure every day.
Q: What are the most common questions AWeber Affiliates ask, and what are the answers to those questions?
A: Aside from questions like, “Where is my affiliate URL?”, which is basically located at the top of the affiliate control panel,
the big one would be, “How do I drive traffic to my website and get more sales?” The answer is basically in driving solid
and targeted traffic to your site using proven methods such as PPC, a solid SEO model, blogging etc.. And the best way
to accomplish this is to to spend time educating yourself by tapping the wealth of knowledge that is available out there.
Q: What would you like to say to any Affiliate that reads this interview?
A: Don’t be intimidated and keep moving forward. No matter what you do, there is always going to be something to learn,
and someone to learn from. That is what makes life such a miraculous adventure. If you truly want to learn and you also
keep your expectations realistic, no one can stop you.
